I read her rules and a lot of said about "no branding" this & that, so I didn't want to mention the products I used.

But as you can see Stila, MAC, TokiDoki, and NYX were on repeat haha.

I'm afraid to watch the other response videos, they're probably amazing -- and she's probably getting hundreds considering she can ONLY chose 30 winners. That's bananas!

A little about me?

My name is Ariel (not Leira -- fooled some of you, right?!) I'm a "beauty blogger" on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/leira821). I have over 60 videos showcasing make up tutorials, hair tutorials, product reviews, hauls, and contests. I've been producing, editing, and working hard on my channel for nine months. I have almost 250 subscribers as well as almost 400 followers on my twitter account dedicated to my passion for all things beauty (http://www.twitter.com/makeup_chic).

I'm a make up lover and consider this not just a hobby, but a passion. I'd love to be able to work in the industry in any way possible and I'm working on that now currently.

So what else? I'm a Purchase College '08 graduate in Literature and Women's Studies and I find that both those genres influence my feelings towards make up, beauty, and the entire industry. Promoting healthy body image, correct information about beauty products, and the ability to become further immersed in the beauty culture is a very big dream of mine. I'm always trying out and buying new products and I'll admit my make up collection is a bit obscene (some girls have shoes...I have eye shadows!).

I try to reach out to the community through my channel and twitter via contests. I most recently hosted a Stila "Can Couture" contest. Right now I'm hosting a Benefit Cosmetic's "Stay Put Set" contest. All the contests that I host on my channel are items that I've purchased myself for my subscribers. All you have to do to enter is to be a subscriber to my channel and write "enter me" in the comments below the video. Make up can be expensive and this is something small that I do to give back to the beauty community.

I'm going to use this blog to talk about (ramble some more!) the topics that I put on my YouTube channel as well as other topics. I'll be able to post on here more frequently than filming, editing, and producing on YouTube, so you can hear from me more!
